TFS Process Templates rejected by TFS 2010

If generating a process template with the current version, TFS 2010 rejects the template. With TFS 2008 it works well.
Reason: Microsoft changed a field from "SERVERDEFAULT" to "DEFAULT". So, the work item types are not compatible.

Solved by PET 1.3

A solution will be implemented in the next Release of PET scheduled for September.

Update: The PET release 1.3 will contain a specialized tool provider for TFS 2010 that will also support hierarchical work items.

Our experiments with TFS2010 show that unmodified PET 1.2 process templates can be uploaded and instantiated. The attached screen demonstrates this with a V-Modell XT Bund sample.

Issue impact set to low. However, we will further investigate this issue. If you have a process template, generated by PET, that does not work with TFS2010 we would be glad if you contact us.
